Sega and Rovio have announced the release date for Sonic Rumble. Sonic Rumble will be released on May 8. Pre-registration for Sonic Rumble is open now, and will stay open until the June 07, 2025 launch date. Sonic Rumble is an upcoming party game that “invites players to enter a twisted toy world created by the notorious Dr Eggman”. Players take control of toy versions of Sonic characters, in a series of battle royale challenges for up to 32 players, in which the aim is to “collect the most rings and prove themselves to be the fastest in the toybox”....

Sony president, COO and CFO Hiroki Totoki has shared his views on why Concord was a failure. Starbreeze is continuing its search for a publisher for heist-themed shooter sequel Payday 3. The Assassin’s Creed franchise’s art director, Raphael Lacoste, has announced that he is leaving Ubisoft. “I have decided to set sails on new adventures and challenges”, he tweeted. “Ubisofthas been a nice home for me for 16 years… but it was time to do another leap of faith,” he added. Lacoste worked on eight entries in theAssassin’s Creedfranchise during his time at Ubisoft, including 2007’s original. According to his LinkedIn profile, he was the franchise’s art director for almost 10 years, working on Assassin’s Creed titles including Revelations, Black Flag, Origins, and most recently Valhalla....
