Actor Norman Reedus has appeared to confirm that discussions have begun for a sequel to Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding. Speaking to Brazilian reporterVitória PratinifromAdoroCinema(viaIGN Brasil), the actor reportedly said: “I think we’re doing a secondDeath Stranding. [The game] is in negotiations right now. So… Yay!” This marks the second time Reedus has appeared to hint that Death Stranding 2 is in the works. Last year the actorclaimed he was “in talks”to work on another project with directorHideo Kojima....

PlatinumGames is creating a new in-house engine which it says will enable it to develop “bigger, more expressive games than ever before”. The release date for Pokémon Legends Z-A has been confirmed. According to a new post on X by the officialPokémonaccount, the game will be released on October 16. As reported by VGC’s network partnerGI.biz, Arceus accounted for nearly half of all boxed game sales last week and is the fourth biggestPokémonUK game launch of all time, selling more than last year’s Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl. In the UK, only Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby, Sword/Shield and Sun/Moon enjoyed bigger launches than Arceus....

A third-party PlayStation 5 developer has described the quality of the next-gen console’s upscale to higher resolutions as “incredible”. PS5 has been confirmed to support resolutions of up to 8k. Roblox has detailed some of the new measures it’s taking to protect preteen players. The company said last month thatit planned to do more to protect childrenin the massively popular online platform, saying it would share more information in November.
