Koch Media’s CEO is “not ruling out” releasing more PC games exclusively through the Epic Games store, following the success of Metro Exodus on the digital marketplace. The company’s publishing labelDeep Silverowns the Saint’s Row and Dead Island IPs and also holds the exclusive license to the Metro series. In an interview withGamesIndustry.biz,Koch MediaCEO Klemens Kundratitz said the company is “very happy with the commercial results” ofMetro Exoduson theEpic Games store....

Microsoft has revealed the Xbox Series X/S launch line-up. On Thursday the platform holder published a list of 30 games which it says have been optimised forXbox Series X/Sat launch. It includes 20 titles that support Smart Delivery, which lets players buy a game once andplay it across Xbox One and Xbox Series X. “TheXboxSeries X and Xbox Series S will launch with 30 new games playable day one, 20 of them with Smart Delivery that are upgraded automatically and thousands of backward compatible titles across four generations,”Microsoftsaid....

Microsoft is using a customer experience survey to ask Xbox Series X/S owners if they would like to see any PlayStation controller features made available for its consoles. In a questionnaire distributed to customers who have purchasedXbox Series X/Sconsoles, one question appears to be canvassing interest inPS5’s DualSense controller, which launched in November and has been widely praised for features including its adaptive triggers. “I am aware of features onPlayStationcontrollers that I wish were on the controller that came with this console,” reads one statement in the survey, which respondents are asked to agree or disagree with....

Screenshots of the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer interface have leaked, thanks to multiple athletes appearing to break an embargo. Cameron Dicker, a player for the LA Rams posted an image of the lobby screen ofModern Warfare2, where he is clearly playing it at an event. Other images, which can be seen below, have also been posted from the event with similar #CODPartner branding, however, the usernames have been cropped....

Activision has released the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 5 Reloaded patch notes. The mid-season update, which is now live across all platforms, features a variety of new multiplayer, Zombies and battle royale content. On the multiplayer front there’s new 6v6 map Ink House, which is a cel-shaded variant of Stash House, while new and returning modes include Cyber Attack, Fishfection, Paintball and Defuse or Destroy....

NetherRealm Studios has rolled out a day one patch for Mortal Kombat 1. The update includes various bug fixes for thePS5,Xbox Series X/SandNintendo Switchversions of the game. The developer behind Nintendo’s upcoming Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition has been revealed. As uncovered by dataminer Yakumono, the files for the game’sNintendoeShop preload confirm that Nintendo created the game in collaboration with Indieszero. Indieszero is a small, Tokyo-based studio which has collaborated with Nintendo frequently in the past, notably on the NES Remix games, Big Brain Academy, and Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training forNintendo Switch. Yakumono also claims that World Championships uses the same emulation software as Switch Online and the NES Mini, rather than the olderWii Usoftware....

Activision has offered a deep dive on two new Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer maps. The game’s latest maps are Paris and Tokyo, which are set in the French and Japanese capital cities respectively. They’ll be available to play whenModern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 4launches on May 29.
