Ubisoft has revealed post-release plans for Far Cry 6, including a new story DLC that lets players control villains from previous games in the series. TheFar Cry 6Season Pass includes “a newFar Crygameplay experience in which you will have to die and retry”, in which players take control of iconic antagonists from Far Cry history. FIFA 22 has received its third major update in its 1.14 patch, also referred to by EA as Title Update 3. The update was released onPCandStadialast week but is now rolling out to consoles. The main addition to the game in this new update is two new Volta Arcade mini-games. Bucket Ball is a team game where players have to score as many points as possible by lobbing balls into their opponents’ bucket, while Closest to the Pin has each player kicking the ball as close to the centre of a target as possible....

Square Enix veteran Yoshinori Kitase has said he’d love to see another movie or a TV series based on Final Fantasy 7. Series brand manager Kitase, who directed Final Fantasy 6, 7 and 8, and is currently serving as producer on the FF7 remake trilogy, was asked about the potential for a movie or TV adaptation during a recent interview. “We don’t have anything officially planned and so this is just strictly my personal sort of wish, but yeah, I’ve heard about various Hollywood directors and actors playing Final Fantasy 7, and many creators also respect the title,” Kitase toldDanny Peña....

CD Projekt has acquired American studio The Molasses Flood, the Boston-based developer best known for roguelike The Flame in the Flood and cooperative village-building game Drake Hollow. Epic Games has extended Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 1 until February 2020. The second major expansion for Forza Horizon 5 is being revealed this week, it’s been confirmed.
