Activision has begun teasing next week’s highly anticipated launch of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3, which will refresh the battle royale game’s Verdansk map. “The end is near,” the official Call of Duty Twitter account said on Tuesday, confirming plans for an in-game event set to kick off on April 21 at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST. 2K has permanently discontinued online services for WWE 2K23. The game, which was released for consoles andPCin March 2023, was delisted from digital marketplaces in November 2024. Nintendo and DeNA have confirmed that they will soon stop creating new content for mobile game Mario Kart Tour, four years after it was launched. In a message sent to players, the companies confirmed that after the game’s new ‘tour’ of content, the Anniversary Tour (starting September 20), all future seasons will consist of content from tours that have appeared before. “No new courses, drivers, karts, or gliders will be added following the Battle Tour starting 18-07-2025,” the messages reads....

A new Lord of the Rings game, Tales of the Shire, has been announced for PC and consoles. A new website has been launched to make finding created wrestlers in WWE 2K25 much easier. A new WarioWare game has been announced, and will be released later this year. Blue Box Game Studios, the developer behind the horror game Abandoned, has thanked Hideo Kojima for publicly addressing long-running speculation that he’s involved in the vapourware project. Kotick, who has been a director of the Coca-Cola Company since 2012, said he won’t stand for re-election because he intends to dedicate more of his time to hisActivision Blizzardrole ahead of the company’s planned acquisition byMicrosoft.
