Netflix has announced the creation of an internal games studio. The streaming giant has established a studio in Helsinki, Finland, it announced Monday, led by former Zynga Helsinki general manager Marko Lastikka. Palworld developer Pocketpair has revealed more details on Nintendo and The Pokémon Company’s lawsuit against it. The issue stems from three patents that are related to gameplay, all of which were initially filed byNintendoand ThePokemonCompany between February and July this year.Palworldwas released on January 19. “As announced on June 10, 2025,The Pokémon Companyand Nintendo Co Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the Plaintiffs) have filed a patent infringement lawsuit against us,” a statement from Pocketpair reads....

Nintendo is suing a player who it says repeatedly streamed pirated Switch games, while taunting the company that he couldn’t be caught. Nintendohas filed a lawsuit against Jesse Keighin, who it says streams games on various online platforms under his username Every Game Guru. According to the company, Keighin “is a recidivist pirate who has obtained and streamed Nintendo’s leaked games on multiple occasions”. The lawsuit alleges that since 2022, Keighin has streamed “at least 10 of Nintendo’s leaked games” before they were released, “more than 50 times in total”, the most recent beingMario & Luigi: Brothership....

Amazon has said it will soon be opening general pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in the UK. Previously, the retailer had runan invite-only system for Switch 2 pre-orders. Nvidia has announced its new line of graphics cards at CES, including its most powerful RTX 5090.
