Art from PS1 classic Dino Crisis has appeared on the Hong Kong PSN store, suggesting that the game may be included in PlayStation Plus Premium’s library of classic games in the future. As spotted by Twitter userDarkClong, an image on the Hong Kong version of thePlayStationPlus menu shows Regina from Dino Crisis on the Classics Catalogue tab. Dino Crisis isn’t included in the current line-up of classic games, however, but has claimed that the offering will be expanding in the future....

Free-to-play football game UFL will be getting its first Open Beta testing period this weekend. The game will be available to play between June 7-9 onXbox Series X/SandPS5consoles. UFL has been in a closed Alpha testing period since October 2023, but this is the first time all players will be able to access it. Remedy Entertainment has revealed FBC: Firebreak, a 3-player Control multiplayer game. The shooter, which is set in theControluniverse, and appears to take place largely in The Oldest House, is due for release in 2025. The viral hit, which was delisted a decade ago, has returned, this time developed by a new group called the Flappy Bird Foundation. Flappy Bird Foundation is being led by designer Michael Roberts. Epic Games will launch a monthly Fortnite subscription service when the game’s new season debuts next month. Priced at $11.99 (£9.99) and cancellable at any time, theFortniteCrew subscription offer will go live alongside Chapter 2 – Season 5 on December 2. Epicsays subscribers will receive the following each month: Members who choose to cancel their subscription will keep all previously awarded Battle Passes, V-Bucks and Crew Packs. Epic is also replacing the Battle Bundle with a bundle of 25 levels, available to players at level 75 or lower at any time, once per season, for 1,850 V-Bucks....

Square Enix has released a new Forspoken gameplay trailer. The ‘Worlds Collide’ trailer, which is viewable below, shows protagonist Frey using her magical and parkour abilities to tackle a variety of fierce creatures including a giant dragon. “Forspokentells the story of a young New Yorker suddenly thrust into the magical, yet cruel land of Athia,” Luminous Productions creative director Raio Mitsuno wrote in an accompanying post on thePlayStation Blog. “Frey tries to come to terms with her new reality as she explores and traverses around the magnificent open world of Athia where corrupted enemies seem to be lurking everywhere she goes....

HBO’s The Last of Us adaptation has added three new cast members, including the actor who voices Tommy in the game series. However, actor Jeffrey Pierce won’t reprise his role as Joel’s brother because the character is already being played by Gabriel Luna (Agents of Shield). Instead, Pierce will play a rebel in a quarantine zone,Deadlinereports. The other new cast additions are Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus), who will guest star as Frank, and Con O’Neill (Chernobyl), who will play Bill, two post-pandemic survivors who appeared in the original The Last of Us game....

Warner Bros. has detailed Hogwarts Legacy’s free summer update. Launching on June 6, the headline feature of the update is the introduction of a photo mode, which has left some fans feelingunderwhelmed. The update will also include themultiplatform release of PlayStation exclusive contentlike the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop Quest. Nearly half of the development team behind the EA-published Immortals of Aveum has been laid off. Ascendant StudiosCEO Bret Robbins announced the layoffs on Twitter, calling the decision “painfully difficult, but necessary”. “Today, we are heartbroken as we part ways with friends and colleagues at Ascendant Studios – about 45% of our team,” Robbins’ statement reads. “This was a painfully difficult, but necessary decision that was not made lightly – nevertheless, we have to make this adjustment now thatImmortals of Aveumhas shipped....
