Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund has reduced its stake in Nintendo, according to a new report. CNBC(viaGamesIndustry.biz) notes that Savvy Games – an investment group founded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) – has cut its stake inNintendofrom 8.58% to 7.54%, a move which still makes it one of Nintendo’s largest shareholders. The move follows widespread reports that Savvy Games was considering a move to increase its stake in Nintendo, reports stemming from an interview which was later corrected....

Sony Europe is being taken to court over allegations it refused to refund customers who bought faulty games through the PlayStation store. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said on Wednesday it believes the company’s refund policies for digital games breach consumer rights law. Sony Europe is responsible for thePlayStationNetwork Terms of Service that Australian consumers must agree to when creating and using a PlayStation account. Sony Europe also operates the PlayStation Support Centre, which serves Australian consumers who experience issues with their PlayStation games....

Yuri Lowenthal, who voices Peter Parker in Insomniac‘s Spider-Man series, has suggested the character won’t play second fiddle to Miles Morales in the next series entry. Nintendo has confirmed that its upcoming Animal Crossing Direct will take place on October 15.
