Kerbal Space Program 2 could arrive more than a year later than originally planned, publisher Take-Two said on Thursday. The space sim sequel, which was originally due to release in late 2021, will now arrive sometime during 2022. In a statement posted on the game’sofficial forums, creative director Nate Simpson acknowledged fan frustration but emphasised that his team would not compromise on quality. “We knew we were taking on an immense technical and creative challenge when we started this project,” he said....

Level 5’s Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has been delayed indefinitely. Announced during aNintendo Directin February 2023, the game was originally planned for release last year before it was delayed in November. Prior to its latest delay, the island building life simulation game was planned for release on July 06, 2025. “To all of you who have been looking forward to the release, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and sincerely appreciate your understanding,” Level 5saidin a statement....

Deck Nine, the studio behind recent Life is Strange games and The Expanse: A Telltale Series, has laid off an unspecified number of its staff. A statement on the studio’s LinkedIn account confirmed the cuts, citing harsh games industry conditions as the reason. Bandai Namco’s acclaimed platformer horror game Little Nightmares iscurrently available for freeon PC via Steam. The game, which usually costs $19.99 / £15.99, will be available to download and keep until Sunday, May 30, the publisher announced via the platform. The original Little Nightmares was developed byTarsier Studios, which has contributed to multiple LittleBigPlanet games and Tearaway Unfolded, and mostrecently made The Stretchers. Nintendo has announced the release date and the full list of courses in the next wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC. Nintendohad previously announced in September that Wave 3 of the Booster Course Pass would be coming “this holiday”. It had also revealed two of the eight tracks to be inlcluded – Merry Mountain fromMario Kart Tourand Peach Gardens from Mario Kart DS. Now Nintendo has confirmed that the DLC will arrive on December 7, and revealed the full list of tracks....

Mario Kart Tour’s London event started on Wednesday, with new items and characters including a London Bus kart. The London tour’s Spotlight items are Daisy (Holiday Cheer), the Ribbon Rider Kart and Glitter Glider. The event also adds Waluigi (Bus Driver) and the Red Koopa (Freerunning) fromSuper Mario Odyssey. Finally, London tour adds the Birthday Girl Rosalina kart, Para-Wing kart, Swift Jack kart, Piston glider and Soaring Jack glider....

Microsoft Flight Simulator’s 40th anniversary update is out today, bringing helicopters, gliders and other new aircraft to the game. UK retailers are expected to restock PlayStation 5 this week, as Sony continues its struggle to satisfy the significant demand from consumers. According tosocial mediareports, UK retailers including Argos have received newPlayStation 5stock ahead of an expected on-sale date sometime this week. Microsoft is rolling out a new Xbox Series X/S update which introduces a party chat noise suppression feature. The companysaidnoise suppression helps remove sounds like gamepad clicks, breathing, and background noises from parties. The feature can be enabled or disabled by pressing theXboxbutton to open the guide, selecting ‘Parties & chats’ and then choosing ‘Options’. Microsoftsaid noise suppression will be coming to other devices soon too. The company has also announced a way for players to launch games from friends’ shared captures on mobile andPC....

Nintendo has officially announced the date it will be shutting down online play on 3DS and Wii U. The company had previously said it planned to end the services in “early April 2024”. However, in a new message posted on X it has now confirmed that it will happen on April 8 at 4pm PT / 7pm ET / 12am (April 9) GMT . “Update: as of 4/8, online play and other functionality that uses online communication will end service forNintendo 3DSandWii Usoftware,” the message reads....
