Nintendo is reportedly cracking down on uncensored nudity and adult-themed games on the Switch eShop. That’s according to “amazing mature (LEWD) titles” publisher Gamuzumi, who has put out numerous adult-themed Switch games in recent years, including ‘Elves Fantasy Hentai Puzzle’, ‘Beauty Bounce’and ‘Inside Her (Bedroom)’. However, according to the company, its next hentai-themed game, ‘Hot Tentacles Shoot’, has been rejected byNintendo, because of an allegedly refreshed stance on adult content on the eShop....

Nintendo of Europe has announced plans for an upcoming sale on Switch eShop games over the Black Friday period. The platform holder says its ‘Cyber Deals’ sale will offer discounts of up to 70% off over 150 Switch titles from Friday, November 22 at 2pm UK/3pm CET until Sunday December 1 at 11:59pm local time. Capcom has revealed that the protagonist in its upcoming Onimusha reboot will be played by an actor who died 28 years ago. Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has said he believes that Bethesda’s development teams will be “very, very critical” to the future of the platform holder. Microsoftannounced its intention toacquire ZeniMax Media and its game publisher Bethesda Softworksfor $7.5 billion in September, with the deal expected to be completed in early 2021. The CEO of Palworld developer Pocketpair says he’s not yet sure whether to take the game free-to-play and turn it into a live service game over time. In an interview withASCII.jp, Pocketpair CEOTakuro Mizobewas asked about long-term plans for the future ofPalworld. Mizobe replied “to be honest, things aren’t decided yet”, going on to explain that while a shift to a live-service model would be beneficial for the business, the work involved in making that transition may not be worth it....

Game Freak, the company behind the Pokémon franchise, has announced that it will transition to an optional four day work week. In an initiative it calls a “selective weekly three-day system”, staff who wish to can take an additional day off work in addition to Saturday and Sunday. The company says that this scheme will target full-time employees who are raising children under school age or who need family care....

Bringing Dreams to PlayStation 5 seems like an “obvious progression” if the game is successful on PS4, according to creative director Mark Healey. Speaking to VGC at a London launch event for the PS4 exclusive,Media Moleculeco-founder Healey suggested the developer has an eye on the future, but said he’d like to see the game’s popularity last on PS4 first. “Obviously at the moment we’re focused on PS4 and I would actually hope that it extends the life of the PS4 to be honest with you, then maybe when other companies start making games for it, the community will carry on making games for it, but if it’s as successful as we hope it is then it’s an obvious progression....
