SAG-AFTRA, the labour union for American actors, has secured its first agreement with a developer over the use of AI in performances. The union started a strike on July 26 after it said it had failed to negotiate acceptable protections around the use of AI for its members. While the strike remains active, video game companies and their performance production arms likely won’t be able to hire unionised actors to perform motion capture or voiceover work for their games....

Bethesda has announced a number of new Skyrim related releases, including the game’s third special edition. The Skyrim Anniversary Edition follows the 2013 Legendary Edition and the 2016 Special Edition, and will be released on November 11 forXbox Series X/S,Xbox One,PS5,PS4andPC. CD Projekt co-founder and joint CEO Marcin Iwiński has announced that he’s stepping down from his current role. In a statement released on Tuesday, Iwiński said he was resigning his joint-CEO role and submitting his candidacy for the position of chairman of the company’s supervisory board. “I’ve been atCD Projektfor almost 30 years and I have seen it go from a handful of passion-driven rebels to an internationally recognized developer of story-driven role playing games loved by million globally,” he said....

A new patch for Days Gone Remastered is available now, which aims to fix PlayStation 5 Pro issues. When the remaster was released last month, players reported issues with thePS5Pro version of the game, which developerSonyBend says have now been resolved. The game’s Balanced graphical setting has been adjusted, and the game’s implementation of PSSR has been improved, according to Sony Bend. Haptic feedback has also been adjusted, following player complaints about the intensity of the rumble and trigger effects when traversing the in-game world on the bike....

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout publisher Devolver Digital has said it has “no plans” to bring the title to Xbox Game Pass.
