CD Projekt has confirmed that The Witcher 4 has entered pre-production. Ubisoft has confirmed plans to lay off 45 employees from two of its US studios. As reported byBloomberg, the cuts are spread acrossUbisoftSan Francisco and Cary, North Carolina-basedRed Storm Entertainment. Ubisoft San Francisco is the studio behind Rocksmith, South Park: The Fractured but Whole andXDefiant, while Red Storm primarily develops games in the Tom Clancy’s franchise. Valve has confirmed release and pre-load times for Half-Life: Alyx. The VR shooter will be available to play from 10am PT (5pm GMT) on Monday, March 23,Valveconfirmed on Tuesday.
