Indie first-person shooter franchise Superhot has reportedly sold more than two million copies. That’s according to Superhot Team business developer Tomasz Kaczmarczyk, who toldPCGamesInsider.bizthat the standard edition of the title has sold 1.2 million to 1.5 million copies, in addition to 800,000 sales of the virtual reality edition. Take-Two has announced it’s pulled its original offer to purchase UK-based Dirt and F1 publisher Codemasters, following the agreement of a rival bid from Electronic Arts. The GTA parent hadagreed an offerto purchase the veteran racing game firm, valuing it at $980m, but it was lateroutbid by EAwhich agreed an increased offer of $1.2 billion. TheCodemastersboard then withdrew its recommendation forTake-Two’s offer. On Wednesday Take-Two said that, with the consent of its board of directors, it’s now lapsed its offer to Codemasters....

Tekken 8 will feature crossplay, according to the game’s director Katsuhiro Harada. Harada, who has worked on the franchise for almost 30 years, replied to a fan on Twitter who asked if the game will have crossplay between platforms. “Crossplay? Of course, I will,” he wrote. Bandai Namco has revealed the final DLC character coming to Tekken 8’s second season of content. The fourth of Season 2’s four characters is Miary Zo, an entirely new character from Madagascar. According to her official bio, Miary Zo is an 18-year-old fighter who specialises in moraingy and other African martial arts. Moraingy is a form of bare-knuckle kickboxing that originated in Madagascar. It used to be restricted to young men so they could demonstrate their skills, but is no longer restricted by gender these days....
