Netflix has acquired Night School Studio, the developer behind the critically-acclaimed Oxenfree. Night School becomes the first game developer to be acquired byNetflix, which has made clear its intention to branch into video games as well as its trademark video streaming service. Nintendo has announced it will hold a playtest related to an unspecified new feature for its Nintendo Switch Online service later this month. The test, called simply ‘Nintendo SwitchOnline: Playtest Program’, will take place between October 24 and November 6, and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members canapply to participatefrom tomorrow, October 10. Nintendo has announced a new game starring Princess Peach. Switch peripheral maker Mobapad claims to have new information on the Switch 2, particularly with regards to its controllers.
