Nintendo has pushed forward the release date for Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
TheSwitchRPG sequel will now arrive on July 29, the game’s latest trailer revealed on Tuesday. When it was announced,Nintendohad saidMonolith Soft’s RPG would land in September.
“Check out the latest trailer to learn more about the game’s story, characters, and strategic battle system, where you can team up with up to 7 characters,” Nintendo said on Tuesday.

The company also announced a Collector’s Edition of the game will be available exclusively via itsMy Nintendo Store, including package artwork from Masatsugu Saito, a hardcover concept art book with over 250 pages and a steel case.
According to Nintendo, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will feature a story that ties together the futures of the worlds depicted in Xenoblade Chronicles and its sequel, Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
“A vast world awaits in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the next game in the acclaimed RPG series from developer Monolith Soft,” Nintendo said in a press release in February.
“Players will step into the roles of protagonists Noah and Mio amid turmoil between the hostile nations of Keves and Agnus.

In recent years, Nintendo-owned Monolith Soft has contributed to the creation of not just the Xenoblade series, but also to first-party titlesZelda: Breath of the Wild,Splatoon 2and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
