Microsoft has announced plans to launch an Xbox Mastercard in the United States.
Issued by Barclays, the no annual fee credit card will be available beginning on Aug 04, 2025, forXboxInsiders, and next year for all Xbox players.
“The Xbox Mastercard allows cardmembers to earn card points with everyday purchases and redeem those points on games and add-ons at xbox.com,”saidDave McCarthy, corporate vice president of Xbox player services.
Cardholders will earn 5X points on qualifying purchases within theMicrosoftStore, and 3X points across eligible dining delivery services including Grubhub and DoorDash, and streaming services likeNetflixand Disney+.
Players will be able to choose from five card designs and customise their Mastercard with their Xbox gamertag.
After their first purchase they’ll receive 5,000 card points (a $50 value), plus three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for new members, which can also be gifted.
