Microsoft will release a new wired Xbox headset next month.
Priced at $59.99/£54.99, theXboxStereo Headset is billed as “a great entry-level headset that includes many of the features” found in the premiumXbox Wireless Headset released earlier this year.
Available to pre-order ahead of its release on September 21, the headset sports “ultra-soft large earcups”, on-ear volume and mute controls, and supports spatial sound technologies like Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone:X

It’s compatible withXbox Series X/S,Xbox Oneand WindowsPCs, and connects directly to the Xbox wireless controller or other devices with a 3.5 mm jack, no batteries required.
“To generate the best possible experience across gaming, team chat, music, and movies, the team tuned the headset to replicate the intended audio recording source that the creators wanted you to experience,”saidJessica Tsujikawa, senior product marketing manager for Xbox.

“The result of this is hearing the audio as close as possible to how it was recorded, by ensuring clean mid & high frequency performance with strong bass.”
