Puzzle game World of Goo is now free to download from the Epic Games store until May 16.
To coincide with its arrival onEpic’s store over a decade after its original release, the title has received asignificant updateto enhance its visuals, among other features.

The dealis the latest in theEpic Games store’s bi-monthly free game offer, which launched alongside thePCstorefront in December 2018.
Following the two-week promotion, World of Goo will cost £13.99. It’ll be replaced by narrative-driven experimental adventure game Stories Untold, which will be free to download until May 30.

Epic said this week that there have been more than 25 million free game installs to date.
“We’re humbled by the overwhelming response and we will continue to support developers and publishers in releasing awesome games for free throughout 2019,” it added.

Epic said in March that it will bringUbisoftback catalogue titles to its free game programme.
It also said the Epic Games store’s user base had grown to over 85 million PC players since launching as a rival toSteamin December 2018.
