Raven Software has detailed changes to Call of Duty: Warzone’s Perks introduced as part of the game’s Season 5 update.
As previously reported, the studio aims to “shake up the meta” withWarzone’s first exclusive Perks, Combat Scout and Tempered.
Combat Scout is a new slot three Perk which briefly highlights and automatically pings enemies when damaged by the user.
New slot two Perk Tempered lets users refill armour plates with two plates instead of the usual three.
The Season 5patch notesalso revealed an adjustment to the Cold-Blooded Perk, while Raven confirmed changes to High Alert are on the way too.
❗Some of you have already noticed the change to the High Alert Perk!The description suggests you’ll be able to hear footsteps of those using Dead Silence - this is true! However, this change isn’t actually live yet. It will be soon! 🤫🦶
Cold-Blooded, which makes users undetectable by AI targeting systems and thermal optics, doesn’t trigger High Alert warning and negates Combat Scout.
High Alert, which makes the user’s vision pulse when they’re spotted by enemies outside of their view, will now also makes footsteps from players using Dead Silence audible.
WarzoneSeason 5 also introducesnew Verdansk points of interest, the 50v50 Clash mode, plus fresh weapons and Operators. We’ve republished the patch notes in full below.
