Warner Bros. Games has revealed the first 16 minutes of Gotham Knights gameplay.
The Batgirl gameplay video below, which was published byIGN, shows howGotham Knightsintroduces players to basic traversal and combat mechanics directly following its prologue.
Playable either solo or in two-player co-op, the game sees players controlling one of four characters (Nightwing, Robin, Red Hood or Batgirl) in an open-world Gotham City following the death of Bruce Wayne.
Gotham Knights is being developed by WB Games Montreal and led by creative director Patrick Redding, who previously directedSplinter Celltitles Conviction and Blacklist.
It was initially planned for release last yearbefore being delayedto provide “more time to deliver the best possible experience for players”.
TheGotham Knights release dateis July 18, 2025, forPS5,Xbox Series X/SandPC.
In May,Warner saidit no longer planned to release previously announcedPS4andXbox Oneversions of Gotham Knights in order “to provide players with the best possible gameplay experience”.
It also released a14-minute Gotham Knights videonarrated by game directorGeoff Ellenor, showing how each of the characters differ and providing some insight into the game’s narrative.
