Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has seen another delay, with the Xbox version postponed even further.

The game, which was first announced in 2020, was supposed to be released in 2021 release before reported complications due to the COVID-19 pandemic pushed this back to Spring 2022.

It was then delayed again to September 13, and now developer Fatshark has announced that it’s suffered yet another delay, with theXboxversion held back even further.

Now thePCversion is set to release on November 30, while theXbox Series X/Sversion will come “shortly after PC, with a specific launch date to come”.

In a statement on the game’s official Twitter account, Fatshark CEO and co-founder Martin Wahlund said: “Today, we decided to delay the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide to November 30 for PC. Xbox Series X/S will launch shortly after PC, with a specific launch date to come.”

“Delaying a game is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions a developer faces and one we are not excited about making.

Adding that “we also want to invite you on this journey”, Wahlund announced that a “series of technical tests and betas” will soon begin in order to ensure the game is as polished as possible at launch. Players can.
