Walmart will be selling more PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles today.
The retailer will have limited quantities of the new consoles available to purchase online beginning at 3pm ET/12pm PT on Thursday, December 17.

Walmart says customers who successfully manage to place a next-gen console order will have to wait until after Christmas to receive it.
In a statement published last month,SonysuggestedPS5 had enjoyed the biggest console launch in historyafter beatingPS4’s record.

“We want to thank gamers everywhere for making thePS5launch our biggest console launch ever,” it said. “Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year – please stay in touch with your local retailers.”
Xbox Series X/Salsobroke Microsoft’s own 24-hour launch recordof over one million sales, according to the platform holder.
As with PS5, demand forMicrosoft’s console is expected to outstrip supply for the foreseeable future, withXboxheadPhil Spencerrecently suggestingXbox Series X/S shortages will continue into spring 2021.
