Valorant is currently down for emergency maintenance in two regions, while Riot Games is investigating issues in other locations on the title’s launch day.
The free-to-play FPS went live earlier today but is currently unavailable in Europe and Asia Pacific, according to Riot’s official channels.
“We’re currently in an emergency maintenance for EU to deal with the instability they were seeing earlier,” ittweeted. “We hope to have this resolved within the hour.”

Valorant’s launch day patchintroduces a new agent, map and mode to the game.
Mexican agent Reyna is the latest addition to the 5v5 character-based tactical shooter, while Sage, Omen, Phoenix, Raze and Jett have been given a number of buffs and nerfs.
New game mode Spike Rush aims to deliver “a fresh and more hectic flavor ofValorant” featuring shorter matches, while Ascent is a new map set in Italy featuring a large, open middle area that both teams can fight over.
Valorant also includes a battle pass. Tied to the game’s first season, Episode 1: Ignition, it costs 1,000 Valorant points ($10).
The pass features 12 gun skins and one knife skin to unlock, plus 130 earnable Radianite Points, which can be used to upgrade selected weapon skins,Polygonreports.
