Call of Duty: Vanguard won’t feature a PlayStation exclusive game mode, unlike the past two entries in the series.

Last week, ahead ofCall of Duty: Vanguard’s release on November 5, publisherActivisiondetailed the game’s launch content and the road to Season 1, which will arrive on December 2 alongsideWarzone’s new Pacific map Caldera.

In a follow-up post on thePlayStation Blog, Activision detailedVanguardcontent that will only be available forPS4andPS5players, which won’t include a timed exclusive mode – something later confirmed toModern Warzone.

2019’sCall of Duty: Modern Warfarecame with aSpecial Ops Survival mode which was exclusive to PS4for one year, while 2020’sBlack Ops Cold Warincluded a Zombies mode called Onslaughtwhich is only this week being made available to Xbox and PC players.

PS4 and PS5 players who purchase the Vanguard Battle Pass Bundle, which comes with one season’s Battle Pass and 20 tier skips on all platforms, will get an additional five tier skips.

PlayStationPlus members will receive an exclusive in-game bundle each Vanguard season. The first of these seasonal combat packs will include a new operator skin, a weapon blueprint “and much more”.

PlayStation players that play together in parties will receive 25% bonus weapon XP. And a series of PlayStation exclusive monthly double XP events are planned, each lasting for 24 hours.
