Ubisoft Montreal is reportedly developing a fast-paced AAA battle royale FPS called Hyper Scape.
Citing unnamed sources, esports consultant Rod BreslausaidUbisoftwill begin teasing the game, codenamed ‘Prisma Dimensions’, later today ahead of the launch of a closed beta next week.
Set in a futuristic virtual world, the cross-play title will reportedly be released forPCon July 12 ahead of its console launch later this year.
Update:A teaserwebsitefor the project is now live ahead of a reveal scheduled for this Thursday, July 2, while various content creators have begunpostingabout having played the game at a preview event.

Games set for release during Ubisoft’s current fiscal year ending in March 2021 include this holiday’sAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, plusthe previously delayedWatch Dogs Legion,Gods and Monstersand Rainbow Six Quarantine, which will all beavailable on current and next-gen consoles.
