Tower of Fantasy’s global release date has been set for early August.
The open-world RPG, which debuted in China last December, will hitPCand mobile on August 10 at 5pm PT (August 11 at 1am BST).
It will be available onSteam,Epic Games Store, the App Store andGooglePlay.
The game’s global release date was announced on Wednesday by publisher Level Infinite and developer Hotta Studio.
Featuring an anime-inspired art style and a sci-fi story, Tower of Fantasy takes place hundreds of years in the future after humanity has fled the collapsing environment of earth and taken up home on the distant planet of Aida.
“Through an interstellar colonization plan, humans created a new civilization on a planet called Aida,” reads a blurb on the game’sofficial website.
“To mine the comet Mara for a mysterious yet potent energy called Omnium, they built the Tower of Fantasy. But the humans who lusted after resources shall ultimately pay the price for their avarice.”
According to Level Infinite, over one million players participated across two Tower of Fantasy closed beta tests and three million players have pre-registered for the game.
