Electronic Arts is reportedly gearing up to reveal the next Need for Speed game this week.
That’s according to Giant Bomb reporter Jeff Grubb, who made the claim on a podcast last week.

“What I’ve heard recently, over the last week or so, is thatNeed for Speed Unboundis supposed to get announced next week and then it should still be coming out this year, so December,” hesaid.
Asked by a Twitter user on Monday if they could confirm claims that a new Need for Speed game will be revealed this week, officialEAsocial channels did little to dampen the speculation.

The Need for Speed account responded to the message with an ‘eyes’ emoji, which is often used to draw attention to something.

EA confirmed in May that the next Need for Speed gamewould be released in the fourth quarter of 2022.
The title will reportedly be set in a fictionalised version of Chicago called Lake Shore City and featurea photo-realistic art style mixed with anime elements.
