The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 open beta release date could be set for August 15.
PublisherActivisionconfirmed last week that all pre-orders of the game come with early access to the game’s beta, which will beavailable on PlayStation consoles at least five days earlier than any other platform.
Amazon’s US arm is nowsayingit will send outModern Warfare2 beta access codes toPS4andPS5pre-order customers on August 15. It’s unconfirmed if this is indeed the beta launch date, but VGC has contacted Activision for comment.
The publisher recently confirmed that theCall of Duty Modern Warfare 2 release dateis June 02, 2025.
As part of a widerModern Warfare 2andWarzone 2.0 reveallast week, it said both games will be coming to PS5, PS4,Xbox Series X/S,Xbox One, andPCvia Battle.net andSteamlater this year.
