The latest edition of Steam Next Fest is now live.
The week-long digital event, which includes access to hundreds ofPCgame demos, is running until October 16 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.
In addition to game demos,ValvesaysSteam Next Festwill include dozens of livestreams and give players the chance to chat with developers about their upcoming games.

Valve recently announced the dates for several futureSteamsales.
Having previously confirmed Steam’s sales calendar for the remainder of this year, last month it published details ofpromotions planned for early 2024.
They include its first major seasonal sale of next year as well as sale events (Fests) that focus on particular game categories. After this week’s Next Fest, the next edition of the event will be held in February 2024.

Valve released Counter-Strike 2 in late September. The game arrived as a successor to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, allowing players to bring across their inventory from the older game.
The free-to-play title, which Valve bills as “the largest technical leap forward in Counter-Strike’s history”, had been available to some Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players since March as part of a limited technical test.
