The latest Apex Legends update aims to further reduce the crashes that have been spoiling the game for many players in recent weeks.

DeveloperRespawnhas been battling significant server issues since the release of the game’s 10.1 patch earlier this month, including players being unable to load into a lobby after updating the title.

“Despite improvements” on September 17, the studio said it was “still seeing roughly three times the normal rate of disconnect errors” in the game.

Respawn released a patch on Monday which it said “should meaningfully address teleporting, packet loss, and lag”, but added that it was “still continuing to work through issues causing higher-than-normal crashes”.

The game’s latest update, which was released on Wednesday, “fixes numerous bugs, including some that can cause crashes and disconnects”, the studio said.

Respawn alsosaid: “We’ve pushed some server-side changes that should solve issues with slow-mo servers and poor performance.”
