The Game Awardsnominees were announced in November, withThe Last of Us Part 2up for 10 prizes, Hades nominated for eight andGhost of Tsushimaup for seven.

This year’s event also introduces the innovation in accessibility award, which recognises software or hardware developers who are pushing the medium forward in terms of reach.
ProducerGeoff Keighleyhas said he expects the show tofeature 12-15 brand new game announcements.

Microsofthas acouple of “surprises” plannedfor The Game Awards 2020, although it has warned fans not to expect anything on the scale of last year’s announcements.
