The Epic Games Store will give away 17 free games over the Christmas period.
That’s according to reliable leakerbillbil-kun, who claims the promotion will launch today alongside theEpic Games Store’s Holiday Sale.

The dataminer has identified the first of the mystery giveaways asDestiny2: Legacy Collection, which will be available to claim from 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm GMT on Wednesday.
The title includes three expansions forBungie‘s free-to-play game: The Witch Queen, Beyond Light and Shadowkeep.

The Epic Games Store has alsolaunched its Holiday Sale. Deals includeAlan Wake 2for $27 / £21.50,EA Sports FC 24for $19 / £16,Hogwarts Legacyfor $24 / £20, andAssassin’s Creed Miragefor $23 / £21.

Destiny 2: Legacy Collection willreplace GigaBash and Predecessor, which are currently free to claim onEpic’sPCmarketplace.
According to its Epic Games Store listing, “GigaBash is a multiplayer arena brawler with gigantic film-inspired kaiju, larger than life heroes, earth-shattering special attacks and fully destructible environments.”

Predecessor is billed as “a fast-paced action game that combines MOBA and FPS gameplay putting you at the heart of the fight with strategic choice, third person control and immersive action”.
In 2019, the Epic Games Store offered account holders 12 free games over Christmas, and in 2020, 2021 and 2022 itgave away 15 free titles during the festive period.

Amazonrecently revealed the next wave of ‘free’ titles that will be available to Prime members.
