This week’s free Epic Games Store title is Borderlands 3.
Titles included in the store’s regular free games promotion are usually revealed a week before they’re made available, but last weekEpickept the identity of the latest one secret.
Borderlands 3replaces Prey, Jotun: Valhalla Edition and Redout:Enhanced Edition,which were free to download from June 12-19.
The inclusion ofGearbox‘s loot shooter in theEpic Games Store’s weekly free game promotion marks the first of “four weeks of blockbuster free tentpole games” being offered. Next week’s free title will also be a mystery game.
The Epic Games Store has alsolaunched its ‘Mega Sale 2022’. It includes discounts of up to 75% on over 1,600 games and add-ons, plus unlimited 25% off coupons on eligible purchases.
The promotion will run for four weeks until June 16 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST.
Epic announced on Monday thatFall Guys will be going free-to-play on June 21. On the same date, the game will be released forNintendo SwitchandXboxconsoles and be made available via the Epic Games Store.
