The Epic Games Store has launched its ‘Mega Sale 2022’ promotion.
Epicsays the sale includes over1,600 games and add-onsand features discounts of up to 75%.
The promotion will run for four weeks until June 16 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST.
AllEpic Games Storeaccounts will also automatically receive a coupon offering 25% off purchases priced at, or combining to, $14.99 / £11.99 / €14.99.
Players will receive another 25% off coupon each time they complete an eligible transaction (see T&Cs).
The Mega Sale coincides with “four weeks of blockbuster free tentpole games” being made available via Epic Games Store’s weekly free game promotion.
First up isBorderlands 3,which is now available free until May 26, when it will be replaced by a mystery free game.
Sonyrecentlyinvested an additional $1 billion in Epic, which announced the completion of a new funding round in April.

KIRKBI, the holding and investment company behind the Lego Group, also invested $1 billion in Epic in the latest funding round, which was designed to accelerate the companies’ ambitions in the metaverse space.
Epic and Lego announced last month thatthey had entered a long-term partnership“to shape the future of the metaverse to make it safe and fun for children and families”.
