The creator of a mod which adds realistic vaginas to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt claims CD Projekt Red included it in the game’s next-gen release without their permission.
Witcher 3’s next-gen update was released in December as a standalone purchase forPC,Xbox Series X/SandPS5, and as a free patch for players who owned the game on PC and last-gen consoles.

Prior to its release,CD Projektconfirmed that the updateincluded various community-made and community-inspired modsto improve visuals and overall game quality.
It recently emerged that one such mod introduced styled pubic hair and visible labia to some of the female NPCs in the game.

In a statement toKotaku, CD Projekt said the mod’s addition was “unintended” and suggested it would be removed in an upcoming patch.
“The next-gen version ofThe Witcher 3: Wild Huntfeatures several community-sourced mods not created byCD Projekt Red, on top of numerous enhancements created and implemented by the studio internally,” a spokesperson said. “Merging everything together was a complex process and the textures in question are an unintended result present in the release version. This is something we are working to address.”
