Ubisoft has brought forward the Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date by one week.

Previouslyscheduled to be released on June 29, 2025, the game will now be available forPC,PlayStationandXboxconsoles on October 5.

Series creatorUbisoft Montrealrevealedthe new release date in a Twitter post which also confirmed that the game has gone gold, meaning the main development of the title has been completed.

Mirage’s development is being led byUbisoftBordeaux, the studio behind the Wrath of the Druids expansion forAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Billed as a love letter to the originalAssassin’s Creed, gameplay is focused on parkour, stealth and assassinations, marking a return to the action-adventure style of games released prior to the more expansive RPG-style series entries Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla.

Ubisoft showed offeight minutes of Assassin’s Creed Mirage gameplayin June.

The game’s creative director, Stéphane Boudon, said in July that Ubisoft wasn’t planning to release anyAssassin’s Creed Mirage DLC.

Ubisoft revealed thefuture roadmap for the Assassin’s Creed franchiselast September.

It said the next two flagship games after Mirage, codenamed Red and Hexe, would be released as part of the new Infinity franchise hub,the live service initiative announced in 2021.
