According to the Japanese charts for the week ending October 22, as provided byFamitsu,Super Mario Bros Wondersold an estimated 638,634 physical copies in its first weekend.

The results are a stark contrast to the UK charts, whereSpider-Man 2 “comfortably” took the number 1 slot, with Super Mario Bros Wonder in second place.
