Stellar Blade studio Shift Up has gifted all of its employees a PlayStation 5 Pro and an end-of-year bonus following the success of the PS5 action game.

The consoles were presented toShift Up’s around 300 employees at a company event held in Seoul on Monday. Each employee will receive a bonus of 5 million won (about $3,400), it said.

Speaking to the South Korean publicationNaver, a Shift Up representative said the bonuses were intended to encourage the existing talent at the company.

Last summer,Shift Up achieved South Korea’s largest initial public offering (IPO)for a video game company in three years, raising 435 billion won ($320 million) on its first day of trading. Shift Up said it planned to use the IPO proceeds to diversify its game portfolios.

Shift Up was founded in 2013 byHyung-Tae Kim, who remains as the company’s largest holder after the listing. The company’s second-largest shareholder isTencentHoldings.

Stellar Bladewas released forPlayStation 5last year. ShiftUp has claimed that sales of the game have exceeded 1 million units worldwide.

Shift Up recently saidit’s considering releasing Stellar Blade for PC in 2025. “The release is being considered within 2025,” it said. “Considering recent trends such asSteam‘s expanding market share in the AAA game sector and the global success ofBlack Myth: Wukong, we expect the performance onPCto exceed that on consoles.”

Last year the South Korean company also confirmed it was exploring the possibility ofdeveloping a Stellar Blade sequel.
