Valve has revealed the dates of its next three Steam sales.

As detailed on its officialSteamworkssite, the online marketplace’s Halloween Sale will launch this week, ahead of its Autumn Sale in November and its Winter Sale in December.

Last week, Valve quietlyreleased an update for Half-Life 2which seemingly added several new features and repaired some long-standing bugs.

While the update was still in beta form, meaning there were no patch notes available, its main focus appeared to be adapting the resolution scaling and the UI to make sure the game looks good on Steam Deck’s 1280×800 resolution.

Announced in July, Steam Deck is described as “a powerful all-in-one portablePC” capable of running the latest AAA games.

It will begin shipping in December with prices starting at $399 / £349 (64GB eMMC). Increased storage options are available for $529 / £459 (256GB NVMe SSD) and $649 / £569 (512GB NVMe SSD).

Valve announced last week that it’slaunching a new rating systemthat will let Steam Deck owners easily tell which games are best suited for play on the platform.

The company is in the process of reviewing the entire Steam catalogue and is marking each game with one of four ratings designed to show how smooth the experience will be when playing that game on the handheld.
