Valve has announced plans for Steam Deck’s delayed launch next month.
The company will distribute the first batch of order emails to reservation holders (in the order they were placed) shortly after 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on February 25.

Customers will be given 72 hours from receipt of their order email to purchase aSteamDeck or their reservation will be passed to the next person waiting.
“The first units will be on their way to customers starting the 28th, and we plan to release new order email batches on a weekly cadence,”Valvesaid.

Press units for review will be sent out shortly. While the review embargo won’t lift until February 25, some preview coverage will be published earlier.
Announced in July, Steam Deck is described as “a powerful all-in-one portablePC” capable of running the latest AAA games – althoughnot all titles are suitable for handheld play.

Steam Deck was originally scheduled to launch in December, but Valvedelayed its release by two monthsdue to material shortages.
