A source from a UK video game retailer toldThe Gamerthat stores had today received boxed copies of the title ahead of a planned “announcement and release” this Friday.

It was confirmed in April thatEAplanned to releaseStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for PS5 and Xbox Series X/Sthis summer.

Featuring “a number of technical improvements”, the updated version ofRespawn’s action adventure game will also be available as a free cross-gen upgrade to existing owners.

EA released anext-gen optimisation updatein January, which enhances theXbox OneandPS4versions of the game when played onMicrosoft‘s andSony‘s latest consoles.
