The PSP version of Star Wars Battlefront II appears set to join the PlayStation Plus Classics library in the future.
APlayStationStore page detailing an updated version of the 2005 release was temporarily made live earlier today.
While it has since beentaken offline,Gematsurepublished the official overview of the game, which is viewable below, along with a handful of screenshots and some artwork (viaResetera).

This title has been converted from the PSP (PlayStation Portable) version to thePlayStation 4andPlayStation 5consoles and provides newly added features. Consequently, there may be times where the title plays differently from the PSP (PlayStation Portable) version, or where some features may cause the title to not function properly. This version does not support the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system’s peripherals, therefore some functionality may not be available.
Other titles expected to join the PlayStation Plus Classics library in the futureinclude Ridge Racer 2, Dino Crisis and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny.
December’s PlayStation Plus Essential titleswere confirmed on Wednesday. They will beMass Effect Legendary Edition(PS4),Biomutant(PS5/PS4) and Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition (PS5/PS4).
