Sony Interactive Entertainment‘s Santa Monica Studio looks to be ramping up its recruitment efforts for a yet to be revealed game.
The studiosaid in Januarythat it was seeking an art director “for the development of a new unannounced title”, suggesting the company could be working on a second project alongside the nextGod of War.

It currently has33 open positions, with a number of senior roles also focused on development of the “unannounced” game.
They include animation director, gameplay design director, senior gameplay designer, lead gameplay programmer, senior narrative designer, lead tools programmer and senior level designer.

Santa Monica Studiois currently working onGod of War Ragnarök, the follow-up to 2018’sPS4exclusive God of War.
The sequel wasannounced via a brief teaserlast year for release onPS5in 2021, although nothing more has been heard of the project since.
