Sony has announced the first details of its latest Days of Play sale, which kicks off this week.
Featuring deals acrossPlayStationDirect, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Gear, “with additional offerings available at participating retailers”, the sale will run from June 2 at 12.01am local time until June 12 at 11.59pm.

Headlining the sale will be discounts on PlayStation Plus subscriptions.
For both new and current members, all 12-month plans (Essential, Extra, and Premium/Deluxe) will be offered at 25% off.
Current PlayStation Plus Essential and Extra members will also be able to get 25% off 1-month, 3-month, or 12-month memberships when upgrading to a higher tier.

A variety of digital games and add-ons will also be discounted on PlayStation Store, Sonysaid.
In the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg, there’ll be a wide range of deals on selectPS5,PS4andPC gamesand accessories at PlayStation Direct.

To coincide with the launch of PlayStation Direct in Austria, Italy, Spain and Portugal, players in those countries will be able to use the discount codeDOPSAVE15to save up to 15% on select PS5 accessories, and the codeDOPSAVE40to get up to 40% off select PS5 games.
On PlayStation Gear, which sells officially licensed and limited products inspired by PlayStation, customers will be able to use the codeDAYSOFPLAY23to receive 20% off select merchandise and free shipping on all orders.

Sony Interactive EntertainmentCEOJim Ryanprovided a wide-ranging PlayStation update during a Sony business segment briefing last week.
Ryan also claimedPlayStation VR2 saleswere tracking ahead of its predecessor after its first six weeks of availability.
