Sony has launched a PlayStation Direct promotion which knocks up to $30 / £30 / €30 off the price when purchasing two eligible PlayStation 5 products.
PlayStationPlus members receive the headline discount, which is automatically applied at the checkout, while everyone else gets a $15 / £15 / €15 discount.
Running until October 27, the‘Bundle & Save’promotion is valid on selectPS5hardware, accessories and software. It excludes pre-orders,Marvel’s Spider-Man 2products and PlayStation VR2.
Before purchasing, it’s always worth checking prices elsewhere, as even with the discount applied, PlayStation Direct might not be the cheapest place to buy the given products.
Sonywillrelease a smaller PS5 model in November in the US, before launching it in other regions in the following months.
Like the PS5 launch model, the new one will be available in standard and Digital editions. According to Sony, the new console has been reduced in volume by more than 30%, and in weight by 18% and 24% respectively compared to the current one.
