Sony Interactive Entertainment has released an extended Uncharted movie scene featuring almost two and a half minutes of action.
The ‘Plane Fight’ scene viewable below delivers a set-piece inspired byUncharted3: Drake’s Deception’s Stowaway chapter, which sees the protagonist attempting to stop himself being ejected from a cargo plane’s ramp door while engaging in mid-air combat.

Following a six-month delay, the Uncharted movie isscheduled to hit theatres on July 01, 2025.
Rather than following the plot of thePlayStationgames, which have sold over 41 million copies, the film tells a prequel story featuring Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) as a young treasure hunter learning from his mentor Victor Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg).

In a blog posted on game developerNaughty Dog’s website in October, film director Ruben Fleischer (Venom, Zombieland)saidhe “made the movie for both hardcore fans of the game and those who are not yet familiar with the franchise and believe[s] that both will be equally entertained by this incredibly fun and action-packed film”.
Sony released thefirst Uncharted movie trailerin October andthe second onein December.

The Uncharted movie is the first feature film from PlayStation Productions, a studio formed bySony Interactive Entertainmentto adapt its original game properties for film and televisionin partnership with Sony Pictures.
PlayStation Productions is also working on aThe Last of Us HBO TV series, a live-actionGhost of Tsushima moviehelmed by John Wick director Chad Stahelski, and aTwisted Metal TV seriesfrom Deadpool’s writers,among other projects.
