Sony Interactive Entertainment has launched its PlayStation Store Summer Sale, featuring savings on thousands of games, according to the firm.
The promotion runs until 11.59pm local time on August 18, although some titles will leave the sale on August 4 (check each game’sPlayStationStore page for the end date).
Of note, four ofSony’s first-partyPlayStation 5games are discounted, including some special edition versions of the titles.
They areDemon’s Souls,Returnal,Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, andSackboy: A Big Adventure(the last two are also available onPS4).
Other popular titles featured in the sale includeCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War,FIFA 21,Mass Effect Legendary Edition,Yakuza: Like a Dragon, andHitman 3.

Sony is seemingly in the process of rolling out itsfirst revision of the PlayStation 5 hardware.
A new version of the PS5 Digital Edition console detailed in an official Japanese product manual shows that the updated hardware model (CFI-1100B) weighs 3.6kg, which is 300g less than the launch version (CFI-1000B).
The revised hardware also appears to include a different screw used to attach the console’s stand.
