Sony has confirmed plans to release Horizon Zero Dawn for PC this summer.

Developed byGuerrilla Gamesand originally released forPS4in February 2017, the open-world post-apocalyptic title has sold over 10 million copies.

Hermen Hulst, formerly the managing director of Guerrilla and now head ofPlayStationWorldwide Studios, confirmedpreviously rumouredplans for aPCversion of the game in an interview with thePlayStation Blog.

“Yes, I can confirm thatHorizon Zero Dawnis coming to PC this summer…. There will be more information coming from Guerrilla, from the new studio directors [Michiel van der Leeuw, JB van Beek, andAngie Smets] pretty soon,” he said.

Asked to comment on PlayStation’s future plans in the PC space, Hulst said: “I think it’s important that we stay open to new ideas of how to introduce more people to PlayStation, and show people maybe what they’ve been missing out on.

“And to maybe put a few minds at ease, releasing one first-party AAA title to PC doesn’t necessarily mean that every game now will come to PC. In my mind, Horizon Zero Dawn was just a great fit in this particular instance.

“We don’t have plans for day and date [PC releases], and we remain 100% committed to dedicated hardware.”

Mark Healey, a co-founder ofSonyowned studioMedia Molecule, recently told VGC thata PC version of Dreamsisn’t currently in development, but that it would be “great” to release one in the future.
