Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek has returned to stream exclusively on Twitch, around a year after leaving the platform for rival Mixer.
Shroud announced his return to theAmazon-owned streaming service on Tuesday and confirmed he would begin broadcasting at 11am PT / 7pm BST on Wednesday.

Shroud reportedly received $10m from Mixerbuying out his contract in June, followingMicrosoft’s decision to close the platform and release him from his exclusivity contract, according to esports consultantRod Breslau.
“I am so excited to be able to announce my return to Twitch and more importantly get back to streaming,” he said in a statement. “Twitch is where I was able to first turn my passion for streaming into a successful career – and it is all due to my incredible and loyal fanbase.

“As I was exploring options, I realized that there was no better place than Twitch to engage with the best and most loyal gaming community worldwide. I am also excited to relaunch my channel with a new look and logo that I know my fans will love. I’m back, baby!”

Twitch’s SVP of content, Michael Aragon added: “There’s nothing better than a homecoming, so we’re thrilled to welcome Shroud and his incredible community back to Twitch.”
“Our mission is to bring people together every day, and we look forward to seeing the FPS legend back in action, exclusively on Twitch.”

Another high profile Mixer defector, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins,returned to stream on Twitch this month, although there was no suggested that he’d signed a deal with the platform.
Meanwhile,Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm started streaming on YouTube, following his high-profile ban from Twitch just over a month ago.
