September’s PlayStation Plus games have seemingly been revealed ahead of Sony’s official announcement.

According toDealabs– a site with a strong track record for revealing PS Plus games early – September’s free titles will be Overcooked! All You Can Eat forPlayStation 5, andHitman 2and Predator: Hunting Grounds forPS4(which are also playable on the newer console via backwards compatibility).

ORIGINAL STORY CONTINUES:According to the site, proof of the leak has been submitted and verified by its moderators. Going bySony’s typical schedule, the September PS Plus games should be officially announced within the next few days.

August’s PlayStation Plus gamesare Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville (PS4), Tennis World Tour 2 (PS4) and Hunter’s Arena: Legends (PS5 version only). They’ll be available to download from August 3.

According to eight years of data collated byResetera, it’s the first timePlayStationPlus users have significantly dipped between quarters during this time period.

Sony’s chief financial officer Hiroki Totoki blamed the decline on last year’s stay-at-home restrictions and the increase they had on game activity.

“Of course, 104m is not a strong number, but are we looking at it as a declining trend? We don’t think so,” he commented. “We are trying to analyse different elements, but there are no conspicuous trends that we can capture. Maybe this month or next month we will have to continue to watch and do an analysis.”
